Urgent advice: Bank Holiday Closure - Early May 2024

The Practice will be closed on the following day:

  •  Early May - Monday 6th May 2024

Please be advised that repeat prescriptions are ordered ahead of the bank holiday to guarantee that they will be available in time.

Need to see a doctor? NHS 111 can help

If you need to see a doctor but can’t get to your local practice you may be able to be seen outside of normal practice hours.

Call 111 and if appropriate, the advisor will be able to schedule you an appointment with a GP – it may not be your usual one –  at a local venue. If you could be better treated elsewhere, they will be able to direct you to the best place to suit your needs. 111 is free to call at all times.

Experiencing a mental health problem?

If you are affected by a mental health issues over the bank holidays and are not already known to local mental health services, or call 111. If you are a service user already, you can access services via your Community Mental Health Team or the out of hours GP service.

Emergency care

If you or someone you are with finds themselves in a life-threatening situation call 999 and ask for an ambulance. You will be taken to most appropriate place for your needs which in some case may not be your nearest hospital.

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues.

Access

The consulting rooms, treatment room and WC at the surgery are all accessible to wheelchair users.

Non-urgent advice: Invite: Newham PPG network group meeting, 23 May 2024

Join us for the next Newham Patient Participation Group (PPG) network meeting. PPGs represent patients and provide feedback on GP practices, helping to drive change.

 

If you are a patient, or a carer of someone who is registered with a GP in Newham you can help improve patient experience and services by joining the PPG at your local surgery. The Newham PPG network brings together patient groups from across the borough to improve health services. You can still attend the Newham PPG network if you are not in your practice PPG.

 

  • Share your views on treatments and services.
  • Hear from guest speakers.
  • Help organise health events.
  • Find out about PPG training.
